Interesting snow formations in a swampy area near my house.

Ariadne drilling a tap-hole in a maple tree at EarthWalk Wednesday Village school.
Cool crystals and bubbles in a piece of ice I found in a potting tray.

Recently the Winooski river in plainfield village flooded,
and there were some excellent photo opportunities.

I stared at this spot in the river for about 5 minutes. I loved how powerful the river looked and felt there.

I think this one has a really cool angle,
but I couldn't really capture the way the water was flushing out
the hollow of the tree as well as I hoped.

This is my personal favorite.
The barbed wire, intertwined with grapevine and the flooded river behind it.

I love how you cant quite see the top of the tree...
it gives me the feeling that it could go on forever.
